Hello and greetings from the other side. It has, alas, been several days of repeating the mantra “Today is the day I update my blog,” but so far 2011 has brought nothing new to the table. Well today is the day my friends. Nothing major, but I would like to announce my intentions to participate in Project 365 where I will do what is within my powers to take, or at least to post, a new photograph for each day of 2011. I have not made any sort of resolution because I believe those sorts of things are designed to fail. Rather, I simply express a desire. Much less stressful this way.
That having been said, the following three photos comprise what I have thus far accomplished in 2011.
I have heard that the fireworks display was fairly weak this year, but to that I simply would like to remind the skeptics in the crowd that it is not every day you see a spaceship on a pedestal spewing multicolored explosives into the night sky.

man, I’d love to participate in 365 if it didn’t feel so overwhelming. More projects are not what I need for the beginning of 2011, haha.
But I am excited to see your blog come to life over the next year!
