When September Ends

There’s a line from a Green Day song (on that album that they made a while ago that marked their “sell-out” status – you know the one) that talks about waking up when September ends. It is sort of an eventuality of Fall and Winter on its heals sort of thing. Or maybe it was December. I don’t remember fully, to be honest, but the line about September has always stuck in my mind. I truly enjoy this time of hear for the changing of the colors, for pulling sweaters out of storage, for curling up with books in the rain and for a number of other reasons that I don’t really feel like listing out. Now that it is undeniably Fall in Seattle, the crash course of activities upon activities that comprises the summer is over and I can put aside a little more time to reinvigorate my blogging effort. I have a few photos from my adventures in the sun to share as well as some coffee-related tomfoolery, but more pressingly, I have only a couple months to decide whether I will have enough enthusiasm remaining to justify paying for another year or web hosting *gasp!*

That being said, I’m going to sign off here and keep things short and sweet. Tonight will be a Sounders’ game downtown and then an early bedtime to get ready for a full week ahead, what with Sunday brunches and the likes. Until next time…
